I can't believe it... we're already half way through the term! It's true what they say: time flies!

Like I said today, this is weekend writing number FIVE, which is the penultimate weekend writing. After next weekend, it's all about the Oral Presentations and the Research Assignment!

Next week, Hasan has suggested a lesson on using more interesting linking words (rather than 'but', 'so', 'and then' etc.), and Jeepy and Prae are confused with using 'either' and 'neither', so we'll do some work on those. It's a good idea to tell me if there are any specific language points that you're struggling with, and I'll try and include them in our lessons.

You are a FANTASTIC class, and you're doing really, really well. The standard is very high. Keep going! (or in China, we say JIA YOU!)

Brighton is definitely beautiful sea of city.I'm keen on staying the beach with my friends and share sunshine together.There are lots of nightclub for pleasure that is somebody favorite things.But I prefer to go to pub.I'm interested in playing basketball on the beach.Players is very kind and lovely who makes me laugh always.And I'd like to have drink when I finish play,that's so relaxed.
But in other word,the shops close time so early that so different china.I have to buy something on weekend.Because the shop was close when I finish the lesson.I have to choice go to pub or go home.Whatever.I love Brighton.

This is my second week in UK, I had never been in another country... That's why I want to meet the most places that I can. Last weekend I went to the Seven Sisters and there's amazing! I went to the Royal Pavilion as well, and I became scared with the details, superb, it's a great building diferent of everything that I've saw until now.
I want to meet the Acquarium, some people told me that it's really cool... And the Brighton Pier, I've never been there.

Bored of Tru and Oceania? If you want to see a different side of Brighton you should try the Hanbury Club in Kemp Town. It's decorated in the Art Deco style of the 1920s/30s and serves delicious (but quite expensive) cocktails. They play a wide range of music rather than just pop and r'n'b and have many live bands playing every week. hello Anna,
It's nice to be in Brighton with you! I think we will have a lots of fan here. I think it's a pleasure to be in this host family, because they are so nice people! We are really lucky that our english house is in Hove, it's really big, spatial, and of course-what is the best- it is next to the beautiful Hove Park!
Embassy is really nice school and I'm happy that we are on the same levels. People here are really friendly and lessons are nice too.
The centre of the city is really, really great and of course the see is fantastic!
